Wheat Penny Error??

   I received this in change at the store yesterday!  I do not know the exact process in the making of the wheat pennies, so.... how would this be able to get out of the mint??  Picture is of the reverse and missing obverse, and slug? Measured the lettering and other dimensions and compared with other wheats, all measurements equate.  Does anyone have any info on this???  Thanks!
