I found this coin while searching through our piggy bank. Any idea how this happened?
  Also CA in AMERICA looks like cursive writing

Looks like it has been placed in a vise with another coin and sqeezed. Post strike damage.

I hadnt thought of that dang... The waffle look on the reverse would explain that. I was thinking mayby clashed die error. Oh well. I still like it!
