This is a 64 with NGC. It's a beautiful coin (both sides). There are no marks, etc. Seems nearly flawless. I don't know why it's a 64? It was graded in 1991 and has been in the family since the early 1900's. I have never sought any other opinions.
What are the "politics" of resubmitting it to PCGS? Is it even worth it? The folks at NGC are experts after all. ![]() |

Send it to ANACS. Your almost guaranteed that the coin would be graded a good deal higher than MS 64.

I agree, Send It to ANACS.... the original grading company of the
ANA... Most people in my coin club agree and it is my opinion that
PCGS is riddled with politics and your grade will sometimes depend on
who is submitting the coin.
NGC is better but still has a long way to go in terms of fairness... |
