Hi, my first post - it's nice to find a forum for exonumia !

I've collected medals and tokens relating to space for some time, and I'm really interested in finding out where they came from, who made them etc. I've had some great mails from people who work in the minting/manufacturing industry and who worked in the various programmes, but I would really welcome any other info on the medals in my collection that anyone may have. I've put all the info I have, along with photos on a website. I'm gradually getting it complete - takes a long time to photo and edit the photos Smile

Feel free to drop by at www.spacecoins.net if you share my interest, and if you have any extra info to add, I'd be happy for you to use the Contact Me form rather than clog up this thread.

If anyone can help me with information on companies who minted or commissioned space medals, Id be very grateful.

I'm currently researching a group of companies that seem to be related, in that I have medals that were minted by one that have the mint marks of another. In particular, I'd like to understand the relationship between The Franklin Mint, The Lincoln Mint, and Spacecraft Medals, Inc.

I suspect that they may have all been the same at various times !!

Any help appreciated.

That's a very detailed website and comprehensive in terms of space coins and exonumia.
I built a small collection of 24 coins and medals with images of the various shuttle crafts as a tribute to the crews of the lost shuttles, Challenger and Atlantis. I know it is not easy to assemble such things.
