Wow, that would make a great addition to any type set. Unfortunately I sold my type set to focus on the Half Eagles.
![]() ![]() ![]() I picked an expensive series to focus on and recently sold some nice type coins to get the final missing piece. Edited by BECOKA - 03 Jun 2006 at 1:05pm |

Not sure that I would classify that as UNFORTUNATE or not. Half Eagle can be quite challenging and fun to complete. Are you doing a complete set, type set, variety set, or something else?

That is a beautifully matched set! I just appreciate the incuse design so much! Also the older gold is way more appealing to me than the modern bullion coins. Well done!

Actually I guess it is an old link. It is now fifth all time and current #1. It's funny, I did not know because I usually just copy the link and paste it but after looking at it I could actully make it look like it is the #1 all time finest by changing a number in the link. Any how, it is not the best set but it is the only current complete set. |

I finished off a set in MS62 and 63 minus the 1911-D. I ended up selling it to help finish the Half Eagle's. since it is the same design I could not really see owning both series. I chose the bigger of the two so I could see the details without assistance. Edited by BECOKA - 10 Jul 2006 at 1:29am |
