It looks like an Indian temple token, but who can be sure: the photo is tough to interpret.  I've got a few of them which have a similar appearance to this one, but all that I have are brass.

Its definitely a silver Rama Thanka temple token used in the 18th and 19th centuries. These tokens are considered sacred by the Hindus, especially the North Indians and are kept as family lucky charms. Unfortunately, there are lot of forgeries available at present, for these tokens..
