I'm new here, and figured this would be a goo dplace to ask this question. I might be looking to sell my Morgan Silver dollar collection. It is totally complete except it is missing the supre rare 1895 coin. What kind of value should I put on this collection? Many of the coins are in excellent shape. The flash kind of turns the silver shiney ones dark looking. Just a rough price estimate would help me a lot. Thanks!

The value car vary quite a bit by the grade of the coins, especially for the rare dates. however, it is rare to see so many in one place, and you should find a buyer. Take it to 3+ dealers to get it priced. Or use a red book or greysheet. Cleaned coins may not be valued as high and some of yours may be cleaned potentially, if raw...

Well, that 1893S alone could be worth roughly $5K if it IS genuine and is in good shape... Very nice set BTW. I will look up value tomorrow.

I can't see your images Michaelkih, though I can tell from the other comments it is a nice collection of Morgans.
Email me @ timothyclark7171@yahoo.com for a professional estimate based on the red book and greysheet and almost certainly an offer. |

Hi Michael, I looked it up and researched it, and your collection is worth about $8,500 - $9,000, depending on the grades of those. If you are going to sell, I recommend using a reliable brick-and-mortar dealer. Nice collection!
