Hello, I needed help, I have a genuine 1937D jefferson nickel coin, I know they were issued in 1938. I do not understand how they exist from the date of 1937. How much is this coin worth?

I just found one myself and all my recent says that it's not supposed to exist
I am new at this but I did that one that was dated 1942 sold for 175000
