Many mercury dimes, numerous wheat pennies, silver 25 cent, and blank planchet nickel. Mostly from restaurant change.

I found an 1888 Morgan in a gutter when I was like 2 or 3.

I got a 1964 quarter in my change at a Taco Bell last year, but lost it when my car was stolen :(

I'm sorting out an accumulation of pennies, and I've found one from 1930-something, at least a couple from the '40s, and a few that are in surprisingly good shape... still shiny, not worn or covered in junk, etc.

I have a small stack of Canadian coins that came out of change, and I found a 1 or 2 euro coin in my pennies :D

Recently, I went to the Bank (actually its a Credit Union, but same difference) to cash a check. I always ask the same question, "Do you happen to have anything different or unusual come in?" I almost never get a yes but a few days ago while I was there the teller informed me that an elderly  gentleman just turned in two gold coins! I asked if I could look at them and to me they looked real, but I am an amatuer collector. One was a 1904-S $20 Gold piece and the other is a MCMLXXXVI (1986) $50 Gold piece. They sold them to me at face value ($70). I had them checked out by two separate dealers and they both stated that they are authentic!!

I found this recently. It is thought to be the rarest cent yet. It is a 1988/89 D . A 1988 D with a 1989 reverse. No one knows how many were minted, but only about a dozen are known to have been found to date. There is very little data on the extremely rare coin. In fact it is listed as "Scarce".

Last week, I bought 20 rolls of cents at a branch bank in the supermarket we go to. One roll was the old solid red wrapper. In it I found what I believe to be a 1972 D DDO-3 red. Ane 5 Wheat cents from the 40's. In a newer roll I found another 1972 S that looked like the DDO also !! Best finds in a few days now.
