Gold Coin Experts Please Help!!!!

   Hello, I was hoping some experts could help me determine the value of a coin I was given as a present a few years ago. It has always just been laying around so I decided to find out it's value since gold prices are high right now and the first coin store I called offered me $1300 on the spot for it. I thought it would be better to get some advice on what it may actually be worth and see if anyone knows of a better way to sell it. I don't really have any information about it I only know what I have been told about its value.
