HI all! I was recently going through my coin collection when I came across a coin with 2 different countires on it! One country is australia and the other country is Great Britian! So, I need some info on it! I am 100% it is a genuine error! Becuase there are no signs of welding on the edges, and it is not a fake! I'm thinking of selling it on Ebay, but i don't know what I should start it at! If anyone could tell me what I should start it at that would be great! also, I saw another 2 country coin like this on Ebay and it was at $900.00! so, if anyone could tell me what I should start it at or give me some info. on it that would be great! Thanks alot! Oh one more thing the coin is from 1943! Thanks!SmileTongueWinkCryBig%20smileLOLDeadEmbarrassedConfusedClapAngryOuchStarShockedSleepy!

Yeah...one comment.

You cannot expect anyone here to identify your coin and give you value without being able to see it.  Post images of it and someone might try to help.

I am going to burst your bubble.

The side with the head has the title of George VI (GEORGIVUS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX:F:D:IND:IMP)  on it and the reverse has the word Australia and a device such as a kangaroo and the denomination on it.

The title is in Latin and translates as:  George Sixth, By the Grace of God, King of all Britain, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.

ALL Austrailian coins of the period were minted this way.

In essence, a very common coin.  It won't pay off the mortgage at all.
