I found a Lincoln cent with an error on the date. It is was stamped 1962 but has a 7 stamped on top of the 2 so I'm really not sure if it is 1962 or 1967 penny. Both the 2 and 7 are very vivid. Is it worth anything beyond a penny?

I forgot to mention that the penny I found came from the Denver Mint. I checked online and there were no pennies produced by the Denver Mint in 1967. This means that what I found is a 1962 D penny with a 7 stamped on top of the 2. So my question still stands, does anyone know how much this penny is worth?

Pictures would be needed to make the best judgement. I haven't heard of this type of error on such a modern coin, but anything is possible.

A photo would be nice. Sounds like metal displacement from post strike damage. Rolling machine or a hit from another object. JMHO though.
