Do wheat cents with a die crack worth alot ?

Hi all,

I found recently a 1920 wheat cent with a die crack in the middle. A diagonal crack on the obverse that goes through lincoln's head.

So i was woundering...how much would that add to it's worth ?

	A die crack - nothing. A broken die - quite a bit. Difference is that a broken die is split into two separate pieces, the split goes all the way across the coin and has a wide gap between.

	hmmm...and what do you mean "quiet a bit "....like how much..if it was struck with a broken die? I think it's a broken die..not a crack...because iot goes down from side to side....not deep..but visible. It ressambles a light earth crack..from a earthquake ~Pat

	Dear Pat, i just came across your post, i have a 1920 wheat cent as well, and it has a crack across the reverse of the coin that, as you stated, resembles a fissure left by an earthquake. Your post was the only source i could find anywhere that lets me know that this is a die error, and i'm not just imagining it.
