hey im not so sure what this fourm is but maybe you could make a special fourm for pepole new to coin collecting. With information such as the coin collecting "Lingo" im not so sure if its the lingo or what but evrey fourm i see stuff like ms-pf16 or like ms-16 or something and i have no clue what there talking about and also stuff like good places to buy coins and how to reconize a coin of value and other stuff like that. just a suggestion

I'll contact the folks at the Beverly Hills Coin Club ( www.bhcoinclub.org )
They're mostly a group of people in the entertainment industry or retired bankers, stock brokers, etc., so they're pretty private. In fact, our last meeting was at a hotel near the Long Beach Coin Show, and they don't even make public announcements about it. Maybe to keep dealers away? LOL Anyway, although they've been local, they had a webmaster build them a website back in the 1990s and they now have members in all 50 states and over a hundred countries who they mail their yearly journal to. |
