Cleaned coin value?

   I have a 1889 CC Morgan that my grandfather collected.  Sent it to be graded and although AU it was sent back "cleaned".  Other than its place in the collection, how can I get an estimate of its value?

	Usually you can move the grade down a notch or two and use that pricing. With that said though, it really depends on the cleaning... some light wipe vs. polished to reflect the sun, will of course be different.

	Its just my opinion, but part of the problem, is PCGS needs to change their policy. Cleaned coins should still get a grade all the up to the AU grades. A worn coin is a word coin. who the hell cares if wear and tear is from cleaning or from being in pants pockets and kitchen drawers??? really whats the difference. but PCGS wont give a grade, which just handicaps the coin. and handicaps whomever owns it. A cleaned coin might still be nice enough to be an AU 48 or an AU 53 or whatever. why not give it a grade???? cleaned should simply mean anything BELOW MS 60.
