Anyone know anything about Confederate half dollars from 1862?  I came across one that has a "capped bust" on the observe with "Confederate States of America", but no eagle, or shield on the back, it says 50 cents and has the cornstalks around the edge.  Just curious about it, can't seem to find anything on it!  The coin we have looks identical to the 1862 penny, except it says 50 cents.  It's silver and in excellent condition.  Thanks for your input!!!

Never heard of an 1862 Confederate Half. Sounds like a fantasy piece.
