Yes, its the overdate. It was in an ANACS 53 holder and has since been regraded by PCGS as an AU 58. Its a POP 1 coin w/PCGS. Here's one of my few imaged dimes: ![]() |

Unfortunately not a lot of collectors of that coin I guess. I have several sets of them but all are in really lousy shape. I've purchased mine mostly from flea markets for $1 each or less. Your photos of yours are about 1,000 times better than most peoples. That is one of those coins that just appears everywhere well worn.

Thanks for posting those pictures, now I know what the book means when it says 'you should still be able to see 'LIBERTY'. I have pulled out a few handfuls of a bunch of dimes I inherited, bought a book and am pretending to know what I'm doing. LOL. It isn't working! I'm giving up. But, the few Barber dimes I saw don't have LIBERTY on his headband! |

A friend on the US Coin Forum at PCGS sent me an email about this coin and I couldn't resist...although this is a POP 12 coin, you just never see them; and most of the sets above mine are missing this date: |
