Oh, OK,
I have even seen US Mint Proof Sets do that as well. I thought that he was talking about the Buffalo GOLD 1 oz. Coin since my comments at the beginning of the thread were relative to the Buffalo 1oz. Gold coin.

I guess I wouldn't dip a coin you value in Anything! I keep my coins in an area that has one of the "coin safe" products in it as well as a desiccant which will keep moisture out of the air. Silica Gel is one such product that is used as a desiccant. Check out the 'coin cleaning'
thread in this Forum for more info on coin cleaning and dipping.
