They are almost all silver Roosevelt Dimes and Silver Washington quarters. I've found over 100 Mercury dimes too. Also one 1911 dime, extremely worn. I've still got more than 40 rolls of dimes to go through. Yesterday I managed to find the missing 1949-S. Actually your basing your info on a full coin. Many older coins have gone through so much wear that they have lost a substantial amount of silver.  A easy test to see how much has been lost on older ones is to simply purchase a plastic roll for Dimes. From my experiences I've been able to place as many as 53 Dimes in one indicating one of two things. One is the Dimes have lost a substantial amount of material. OR the tube was made to large. That too could be tested with a roll of modern Roosevelt Dimes.
Meanwhile back to your piles of old coins.
Hopefully your not placing them in those Folders. The ones where you can see only one side. I suggest you purchase an Album where you can see both sides of the coins. Next I suggest you purchase a copy of the Red Book so you don't mistake a rare and/or valuable coin for junk.
Note there are numerous error coins that could bring a substantial amount of money even in poor condition. If you do have Mercury Dimes there are many error ones to watch out for and some are really expensive.
Not sure of what other coins you may have but you would really be smart to get some books on coins prior to doing anythihg with those coins.

My dad had some vending machines on the side back in the 60s and 70s. When he brought the coins home we would sort out the 90% silver coins and put them in rolls. At the time I had no idea what we were doing or why. Just something that dad did. Anyway we still have the dimes and quarters today--$750 face value in dimes and maybe $300 in quarters.
 
I bought some of those coin holders that have a place for each year and mint and inform you how many coins were minted that year.
 
With the dimes I've got all the dimes except two of the dimes from 1955. I've still got a few thousand dimes to search through and maybe I'll find those two missing coins. I understand the actual value at the moment is about 13 x face value. I was just wondering if a full set of junk coins might have a higher value than the value of the silver?
 
With the quarters I'm missing some of the very low mintage years but haven't gone through all the  quarters yet.
