First, welcome! http://users.hal-pc.org/~canupnet/coin-grading.html Here's a site that helps with grading, also Google-ing for examples helps.

Well, was just looking at my reference book, and it says your coin is 195. in F-12...so if it is real and not fake (never can be too careful), it's worth more than a pretty penny.

Just looked at my reference book, it says your coin is 195. In the
F - 12 ... so if it is true, not false (can never be too careful), it's worth
more than a lot of money.

According to the 2012 RedBook dorkkarl is right on the condition. Same book has it retail atVF-20 @$1,750 thats based on the silver value @$30 an oz. So its more today. Wholesale Between VF $775-1,850 for EF40 In the Whitman BlueBook 2012. But It's still in the graders opinion. Those are just baseline prices.
