1814 flying eagle half penny?

   I am not a coin collector. I live in a small upstate ny town called Whitehall, birthplace of the US navy and has a long history. While tilling my garden last week I turned up a thin metal disc and joking gave it to my wife. I told her it was an coin and to clean it up (thought it was probably a slug out of a fuse box). She gave it a brief wash with soap and surprise, it is a coin. I've been trying for three days to locate it on line and have had no success. Any ideas on origin and value would be GREATLY appreciated. It has what looks like a man sitting in a wheel chair? holding a trident in on hand and wheat? in the other on one side and an eagle? on the other. The words HALF PENNY are clear and the maybe COIN? above with the date 1814 under (seperated by the eagles tale feathers).
Any ideas?

	Its pic is blur so it is difficult to find out which coin it is.
